Is Nothing Sacred?
OK, maybe I shouldn't have said "sacred." Is nothing above being used for political gain? If you're John Kerry, evidently not. (hat tip to Kevin at Wizbang)
John Kerry commented on the passing of Christopher Reeve, saying that he received a voice mail from him on Saturday. As Kevin pointed out, Saturday was when Mr. Reeve had his heart attack and slipped into a coma. While it technically correct that he could have placed that call prior to the heart attack, Mr. Reeve had been fighting a serious infection (with complications) for a while, so he was probably not in any condition (due to massive doses of antibiotics and pain meds) to call Kerry to tell him to keep up the good work.
Just when you think he can't sink any lower, someone hands the man a shovel.
