The Problem with State Religion
The Founding Fathers didn't think that having a state-run religion was a good idea. And... um... here's an example of why they were right...
The Supreme Court (of Denmark -B) rules that a church custodian's belief in reincarnation was not valid grounds for his excommunication.So... The Supreme Court, who is in charge of interpreting law, is now also in charge of interpreting Scripture? This is not a good combination, especially if they can't interpret even the easy verses.
The Ministry of Ecclesiastical Affairs had no right to excommunicate a defiant church custodian who maintains that there is room for faith in reincarnation in the Christian religion, the Supreme Court decided on Thursday.
Inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once, and after this, judgment. (Heb 9:27)Makes sense to me. Maybe it's in the translation... does it say something else in Danish?
