Yeah, Right, Whatever

If you were going to put together a summer reading list for 13 year-olds, what would you put on it? I'm looking for a variety of subjects and genres.

So far, I have the following on the possibles list:

• Now They Call Me Infidel by Nonie Darwish (an awesome book that I recommend to everyone)
  
• The Language of God by Francis S. Collins
• The Greatest Stories Never Told by Rick Beyer
• The Hobbit by J. R. R. Tolkien

Yes, if it's on the final list, if I haven't read it yet, I'll be reading it, too.
