a DNC Link Dump
I'm doing my best to avoid coverage of the Democrat National Convention. Sure, there will be some humorous moments in that oxygen-poor environment, but will we be able to tell the difference between oxygen-starved brains and their normal logic-starved brains?
Here are a few links just to prove I don't live in a vacuum.
Here are a few links just to prove I don't live in a vacuum.
- Here's one of the ads that the Obama campaign doesn't want you to see.
When I say they don't want you to see that ad, I mean to the point of threatening lawsuits and boycotts if stations defy their orders from on high. Don't worry, Barry. The MSM will ignore this like they do every other news-worthy piece that is critical of you. - Evidently the fact that some guys were arrested in Denver on several charges (weapons, drugs), and they're being investigated for contemplating assassinating Senator Obama from 750yds, more or less, is being ignored by the MSM. That may or may not be because it looks like the authorities are only paying attention to these yahoos because they are required to by law.
- Here's another ad the Obama campaign isn't thrilled with.
Me? Eh... discussing his school would have left more of a mark. (Jay Tea and I had the same idea, but he actually goes into detail.) - How did Mrs. Obama do last night with her speech? I guess it depends on who you ask. (The transcript of her speech is in the middle of this post.)
- That's not the daily bounce Obama was expecting.
- With and endorsement like this, how could he lose? Then again, they might have something to say about it.
- Another newspaper editorial board has left the reservation.
- Here's another ad for you, this time an official ad from the McCain campaign.
While I'm not convinced that borrowing from a failed campaign is a good idea... that's not half-bad. - I can't embed this commercial, but it's an Obama campaign response to everyone talking about William Ayers, questioning why Senator McCain is talking about the 1960s. Lots of reasons, starting with the company you keep, Senator Obama.
- How bad is the opening night of your convention if James Carville, your most loyal mouthpiece, is complaining to CNN about your lack of message?
